This is a US-based 100% remote 2+ month contract. You must be able to work PST hours.

As an AI Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in transforming manual processes into dynamic, interactive dashboards, providing critical insights to stakeholders across various organizations. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in data engineering and visualization to drive impactful change. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated dashboards that consolidate data from diverse sources, including databases and other platforms. Your work will empower decision-makers with real-time insights, enabling them to optimize processes and achieve strategic objectives.

What You’ll Do

  • The main function of this role is to create automated dashboards which pull data from various sources including Azure DevOps (ADO), Excel and cross-org databases, and convert manual processes into live data visualization.
  • This role will also maintain existing dashboard backend in ADO, fix bugs and create queries and reporting to meet business needs.
  • The role will consist of 50% meetings for stakeholder management and 50% coding for technical tasks, with a continuous feedback loop.
  • Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
  • Analyze technology, resource needs and demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
  • Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings.

Must-Haves

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Power BI
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with ADO (Azure DevOps)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with dashboard and database management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must have basic Datacenter Server Knowledge (preferrable Azure).
  • Must have sufficient knowledge and experience using Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, as well as Azure DevOps, SharePoint and more.
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Proven experience in automating manual processes and creating interactive dashboards.
  • Experience working with a large technology organization.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $51 to $57 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
