Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Data Engineering or related field.
• Deep Snowflake architecture knowledge (security, governance, performance).
• Hands-on Cortex AI, CoCO, CoCO Desktop, Snowpark experience.
• Experience with LLMs, RAG, vector search, agentic AI.
• Strong SQL and Python skills; proficiency with Airflow, dbt, Spark, Kafka.
• Cloud exposure across AWS, Azure, or GCP; solution architecture focus.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy AI-powered data solutions using Snowflake Cortex AI and CoCO.
• Develop RAG and agentic workflows with semantic layers and enterprise AI apps.
• Architect scalable Snowflake-based data platforms with Kafka, Spark, Airflow, dbt.

Robotics Technologies is hiring an AI Data Engineer onsite in Austin, TX for a 12-month contract with possible extension. This role centers on designing and deploying AI-powered data solutions, building RAG and agentic workflows, and delivering scalable data platforms built on Snowflake and modern data infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Design and implement AI-powered data solutions using Snowflake Cortex AI and CoCO, including CoCO Desktop.
• Develop and deploy RAG and agentic workflows, along with semantic layers and enterprise AI applications.
• Architect scalable data platforms using Snowflake with Kafka, Spark, Airflow, dbt, and cloud-native services.
• Build robust ELT/ETL pipelines and real-time integrations.
• Lead workshops, architecture reviews, PoCs, and production deployments.
• Create reusable accelerators and best practices to help standardize delivery.

What you bring

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Data Platforms.
• Deep expertise in Snowflake architecture, including security, governance, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Cortex AI, CoCO, CoCO Desktop, Snowpark, and AI/ML integration patterns.
• Experience building LLM, RAG, vector search, and agentic AI solutions.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with Airflow, dbt, Spark, Kafka, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong customer-facing communication and solution architecture skills.
• Snowflake certifications: Architect, Data Engineer, and AI specialization.
• Experience with Streamlit, Dynamic Tables, Snowpipe, and Native Apps.
• Experience integrating OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open-source models.
• Knowledge of enterprise security, governance, privacy, and compliance frameworks.

Location and compensation

Austin, TX (onsite). Pay: USD 75 per hour.
