Vanguard is hiring an AI & Data Controls Manager to lead design, testing, and oversight of controls across the AI and data lifecycle. You will translate governance standards into measurable control activities, assess risk frameworks, and drive remediation with cross-functional teams.

You will influence stakeholders, develop dashboards, and ensure audit-ready governance aligned with NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, and privacy regulations. Hybrid work model in the US.

Formación

• Five or more years of experience in risk management, controls, compliance, audit, governance, technology risk, model risk management, data governance, or related disciplines.
• Experience designing controls and documenting control frameworks in complex environments.
• Experience developing risk-to-control mappings, control objectives and testing methodologies.
• Hands-on knowledge of AI risk, model risk, data governance, privacy, or related governance disciplines.
• Working knowledge of frameworks like NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, COBIT or equivalent standards.
• Experience with GRC platforms such as Archer or ServiceNow GRC.

Responsabilidades

• Lead identification, design, documentation, implementation, and testing of AI and data controls across the lifecycle.
• Define control objectives, map risks to controls, and document procedures for evolving risks.
• Assess governance frameworks to identify gaps and drive remediation for stronger control effectiveness.
• Provide expert consultation and leadership on AI and data risk matters with stakeholders.
• Lead controls monitoring and testing programs, including health reporting.
• Develop dashboards on control effectiveness, issue status, and remediation progress using GRC tools.
• Translate technical risk concepts into actionable control requirements for business stakeholders.
• Educate stakeholders on governance expectations and emerging regulatory developments.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
