Job summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. in Plano, TX, is seeking a highly versatile AI Analytics leader to guide data strategy and build scalable analytics platforms across consumer electronics, eCommerce, and B2B domains.

As Senior Manager you will manage a 3–4 person team, partner with regional and HQ stakeholders, and drive data and AI initiatives from ideation to measurable business impact, leveraging GCP, Vertex AI, and Looker Studio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Data Science or related field.
• 8–15 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, engineering, and architecture.
• Deep expertise in Google BigQuery, SQL, and data modeling.
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation.
• Experience with GCP data pipeline tools (Dataflow, Airflow, Pub/Sub, Dataproc).
• Looker Studio for dashboards and semantic modeling; Terraform for IaC.
• Experience integrating AI/ML APIs (Vertex AI, Gemini) and RAG concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data analytics initiatives across SEA domains.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable batch/real-time pipelines.
• Own data governance, security, and compliance architecture.
• Direct a 3–4 person team of analysts and contractors.
• Partner with stakeholders across SEA and Samsung HQ to drive impact.
