Job summary

Wellabe invites driven students to join its Data & Analytics team for a 10-week paid internship, running June 7–August 13, 2027 in Des Moines, IA. You will build and evaluate ML models, help deploy experiments to production, and apply generative AI to optimize workflows while learning from a collaborative team.

You’ll gain real-world experience, participate in a structured internship program, and engage in mentorship, learning sessions, and team events throughout the summer.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or master's degree in data science, Computer Science, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field

Responsibilities

• Build and evaluate machine learning and deep learning models for real business problems
• Assist with taking models from experimentation into production
• Use generative AI and large language models to enhance machine learning workflows and performance
• Analyze and visualize business data to uncover insights that inform decisions
