Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Data Analyst 2 to collect, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources to create reports and insights for management. You will specialize in reporting tools and dashboards within the data area, supporting the company’s strategy and values.

You will partner with business leaders to deliver timely, scalable reports, advise on data resources and tools, and help implement data analytics strategies across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, analytics or related field required.
• 2+ years’ experience in data analysis preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in visualization tools preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
• Typically travel is not required.
• Normal office environment.
• Frequent activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes data from a variety of internal and external sources to inform management.
• Maintains knowledge of key operational metrics within the function.
• Extracts large data sets from various sources to facilitate reporting and analysis; cleans data as needed.
• Utilizes Power BI or Tableau to communicate metrics and insights to management.
• Audits data, data sources and processes for privacy and best practices.
• Supports leadership with scheduled and ad-hoc reporting requests.
• Builds tools and templates to improve data management and reporting efficiency.
• Documents historical reporting, parameters and datasets for time-series comparisons.
