Qualifications

• MS in computer science or related discipline; minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong foundation in machine learning and deep learning.
• Strong foundation in cybersecurity basics (e.g., file and network traffic analysis).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement reproducible pipelines for data acquisition, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, packaging, and deployment.
• Contributes to requirements definition, design, and development of software applications for projects as directed by PI or software team lead.
• Benchmark and evaluate AI/ML systems against performance metrics and robustness; define deployment-ready measures of success.
• Visualize and explain complex data and model results to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Advance ORNL mission by aligning actions with core values and promote equal opportunity in the workplace.
