Job summary

Hill’s Pet Nutrition, part of Colgate-Palmolive, is seeking an AI Creative Technologist to embed AI into our creative workflows. You will bridge creative execution and technical application by deploying AI tools and agentic systems for copywriters, designers, and video artists.

Design and maintain AI workflows, admin AI platforms, provide prompt engineering, ensure brand-consistent content, and mentor the creative team while staying current with advances in generative AI and large language

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field
• 5+ years in a technology-focused role
• Hands-on experience building AI agents and LLM workflows

AI Creative Technologist

Hill’s Pet Nutrition is looking for an AI Creative Technologist to support the integration of artificial intelligence into our creative workflows. Joining the Strategic Creative Services team, you will bridge the gap between creative execution and technical application by implementing and maintaining AI tools and agentic systems. In this role, you will focus on the practical deployment of emerging technologies to assist our creative team, helping to streamline daily tasks and enhance project efficiency. This is an ideal role for a technical professional who enjoys the hands‑on work of optimizing workflows and ensuring our marketing technology remains effective and up-to-date.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and maintain agentic AI systems and custom workflows tailored to the needs of our creative team (copywriters, designers, video artists).
• Act as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for all AI tools and platforms used by the Strategic Creative Services team.
• Providing prompt engineering services and how to interact with and guide AI systems to achieve specific outcomes.
• Establish and manage a robust quality control process for all AI-enabled systems and content, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and ethical use.
• Partner with creative and marketing leadership to identify opportunities where AI can solve business challenges and improve the creative process.
• Train and mentor creative team members on best practices for leveraging AI tools in their daily work.
• Stay relentlessly current with the latest advancements in generative AI, large language models, and creative technology, acting as a key advisor to the business.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or any other related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in a technology-focused role, with a proven track record of developing and implementing new systems.
• Hands‑on experience in building AI agents and agentic workflow applications or in major generative AI platforms, APIs, and large language models.
• Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python) to create custom tools and integrations.
• Experience in demonstrating projects where you have successfully applied AI or technology to solve creative or business problems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• Experience with React, HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
• Experience working directly with or being embedded within a creative or marketing team.
• Familiarity with the creative process and the tools used by designers, writers, and video producers.
• Experience in the consumer packaged goods and supply chain (CPG) industry.
• Strong understanding of the ethical considerations and limitations of AI in a corporate environment.

Compensation And Benefits

Salary Range $109,000.00 - $155,000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long‑term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
