AI is the most transformational technology of our time, capable of tackling some of humanity’s most challenging problems. That is why Amazon is investing in generative AI and the responsible development and deployment of large language models (LLMs) across all of our businesses.

We are looking for highly motivated and talented candidates who will review generated data demonstrations and provide human feedback to train LLMs. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills, attention to details, and a commitment to excellence.

This is a nine-month fixed-term temporary assignment.

As an AI Content Writer, your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing machine and human-generated demonstrations to produce preference data for training LLMs, using high judgment in each case.
• Working closely with support teams, reviewing guidelines, suggesting updates, and engaging in team calibrations to ensure data quality.
• Participating in process improvements, SOP and guideline formulation, and providing data insights as needed.

Key job responsibilities include:

• Creating original, engaging content across multiple types to train LLMs.
• Writing clear, concise, and grammatically correct responses adhering to SOPs and style guidelines.
• Proofreading and editing content to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Researching and verifying content quality based on guidelines; approving or rejecting content with logical reasoning.
• Performing quality checks, providing feedback, and training team members.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to monitor and improve quality.
• Understanding subject matter experts and testing new SOPs for content accuracy.
• Supporting leadership and teams through training and project participation.

Basic Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in English (verbal, writing, reading, comprehension).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of content writing experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields such as Computer Science, Linguistics, Journalism, etc., with emphasis on creative or technical writing or AI technology.
• Fluency in one of the listed languages (e.g., German, Spanish, Chinese, etc.).
• Ability to adapt writing style and make logical decisions in ambiguous situations.
• Understanding of academic integrity (e.g., plagiarism).
