Job summary

micro1 is seeking a Generalist Writer contractor for a remote engagement. You will review AI-generated content, edit for grammar, tone, and clarity, and provide concise, actionable feedback to improve accuracy and reliability. Start immediately with a minimum of 20 hours per week.

The four-week sprint may extend based on performance. Ideal candidates demonstrate native US English, strong writing and editing experience, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to follow detailed guidelines

Qualifications

• Native US English speaker with exceptional command of grammar, syntax, tone, and written communication.
• Demonstrated expertise in professional writing, editing, proofreading, content review, or other writing-intensive roles.
• Acute attention to detail and the ability to identify subtle issues, inconsistencies, and errors in written material.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a strong focus on clarity and precision.
• Comfortable following detailed guidelines and applying evaluation criteria consistently across a high volume of work.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to objectively assess information and provide concise, constructive feedback.
• Immediate availability and ability to commit at least 20 hours per week while maintaining consistently high-quality outputs.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess written content and AI-generated responses for accuracy, coherence, completeness, and overall quality.
• Evaluate adherence to instructions by comparing written outputs against detailed guidelines and defined criteria.
• Deliver clear, actionable written feedback with a strong focus on precision, consistency, and objective assessment.
• Identify discrepancies, ambiguities, factual issues, or areas for improvement within written responses.
• Systematically document findings using provided evaluation tools, guidelines, and reporting formats.
• Engage in a four-week initial sprint, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
• Start immediately and commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week throughout the engagement.
