Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (CS/CE/EE/AI) or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of software development with C/C++.
• Experience with Python development.
• Background in computer vision, image processing, or AI/ML.
• Experience with object detection, tracking, or sensor processing.
• Proficient Linux software development experience.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and software engineering skills.
• Effective communication with technical teams and government customers.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop real-time computer vision and AI algorithms for mission-critical apps.
• Develop software in C/C++ and Python for embedded/high-performance systems.
• Create CV, object detection, tracking, and perception algorithms.
• Develop AI-enabled software for EO/IR imagery and advanced sensors.
• Evaluate and integrate ML techniques into production software.
• Optimize software for embedded and HPC platforms.
• Develop automated testing, validation, and performance evaluation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to transition research into ops.
• Prototype emerging technologies including neuromorphic AI and event sensing.
• Prepare technical docs, customer reports, and engineering briefings.
