Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Cloud Security Analyst (AI Training) to analyze cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure. You will review IAM, networking, storage, and container security issues, and classify gaps and misconfigurations with real-world impact.

You will validate AI-generated security reasoning to reflect how cloud incidents unfold and assess blast radius and business impact. This is a remote hourly contract with 10–40 hours/week and opportunities for ongoing engagement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with cloud environments in production.
• Solid understanding of cloud IAM, networking, storage, and container security concepts.
• Familiarity with real-world misconfigurations and security incidents across major cloud providers.
• Able to reason clearly and precisely about security risk, blast radius, and downstream business impact.
• Strong written communication skills for structured feedback and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze real-world cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure to identify risks and failure patterns.
• Review and assess IAM, networking, storage, and container security issues.
• Classify security gaps, misconfigurations, and cloud-related failures based on real-world impact.
• Validate and improve AI-generated security reasoning so it accurately reflects how cloud incidents actually unfold.
• Help ensure AI systems reason correctly about blast radius, risk exposure, and business impact.
