Job summary

Dassault Systèmes in Waltham, MA seeks a SOLIDWORKS Roles Portfolio Manager focused on AI-powered CAD, design, and product development solutions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Robotics/Electromechanical, or related field.
• 3 years of design or manufacturing industry experience or school project equivalent.
• Strong CAD (SOLIDWORKS) background in using, consulting, selling, or managing.
• Interest in AI and emerging technology trends and applying AI to real product problems.
• Familiarity with AI developments including LLMs, agentic AI concepts, and AI productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Set product strategy by analyzing CAD/AI market, competitors, trends, and customer needs.
• Plan the 3–6 year roadmap and 18–24 month AI roadmap based on use cases.
• Talk with customers, prospects, and users to translate needs into product capabilities.
• Define and manage AI-powered design experiences and Virtual Competences.
• Coordinate with R&D, engineering, sales, marketing, finance, operations, and pricing to bring products to market.
• Help determine packaging and pricing, support sales opportunities, and influence GTM strategy.
• Launch products with QA, content, training materials, demos, and videos.
• Represent SOLIDWORKS at events and communicate value of AI/design technologies.
