Job summary

Eightelevengroup is seeking an experienced AI Business Analyst to bridge HR stakeholders and the engineering team within the EUC Agentic AI Platform. Based in Middle Tennessee preferred, this role focuses on translating business needs into actionable AI project scope and guiding rollout phases across the year.

You will act as the primary liaison between HR directors and developers, manage expectations, monitor agent behavior, and provide regular updates to leadership.

AI Business Analyst

Location: Middle Tennessee preferred

Overview

This role sits within the EUC (End User Computing) organization's new Agentic AI Platform initiative — an internal, tailored AI co-pilot for employees. The agent is being built now, with rollout beginning next month and additional phases continuing through the rest of the year. The immediate goals are to reduce Tier 1 help desk consumption and increase employee productivity.

We're looking for a Functional/Technical Consultant who can bridge the gap between the technical team building the AI agent and the HR stakeholders who own the business outcome. This is not a hands-on development role — some familiarity with development is a plus, but not required.

What You'll Own

• Act as the primary point of contact between HR directors and the technical/engineering team
• Manage expectations on both sides — translating business needs into scope the technical team can execute against, and translating technical realities back to stakeholders
• Provide regular project updates through the reporting chain (to the director, and up through leadership)
• Help steer and evaluate agent behavior as the platform is built and refined
• Support the team through each rollout phase across the year

Day-to-Day

• Manage stakeholder expectations on an ongoing basis
• Work directly with the technical team to make sure work stays within agreed scope
• Join regular check-ins with HR directors and project leadership

Required Skillset

• Working understanding of AI/agentic architecture
• Ability to understand agent behaviors and help steer/tune them
• Strong stakeholder management — comfortable managing expectations across both business and technical audiences
• Background knowledge of IS/IT
• Familiarity with Gen AI or AI development concepts (formal development experience not required, but useful)

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experienced professional, not a recent graduate — this is a high-level resource
• Comfortable operating as a functional/technical consultant rather than a builder
• Prior exposure to AI/Gen AI projects, courses, or initiatives is a strong plus
• Flexible on total years of experience if the AI/Gen AI background is strong
