Job summary

NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company is seeking a Software Developer – AI & Automation in Plano, TX to design, develop, and integrate AI-powered solutions and automation technologies across backend, frontend, and data domains.

You will work with Python, Flask, REST APIs, React, and SQL/Snowflake while leveraging Azure AI services and RPA to build scalable, maintainable software. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

3–5 years of professional software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Python, Flask, Pandas, JSON, and React.
Experience developing backend applications and RESTful APIs using Flask and Python.
Strong knowledge of SQL and/or Snowflake, including structured data and data pipelines.
Experience with Azure AI Foundry, including Azure OpenAI and Azure Document Intelligence.
Hands-on experience developing AI-powered or automation-based solutions.
Experience with RPA and Microsoft Power Automate.
Experience with Docker and application containerization.
Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
Strong understanding of software development best practices.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to write clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and develop AI-powered software and automation solutions to improve business processes and workflows.
Build scalable backend applications and RESTful APIs using Python, Flask, JSON, and related technologies.
Develop dynamic and responsive frontend applications, dashboards, and user interfaces using React.
Work with SQL databases, Snowflake, structured data, and data pipelines.
Develop and maintain RPA solutions using Microsoft Power Automate.
Identify opportunities to automate manual and repetitive business processes.
Containerize applications using Docker and support modern deployment practices.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
Monitor and improve automation workflows to ensure reliability and scalability.
Use Git and version control systems to manage source code and development activities.
Write clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-documented software.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand requirements.
Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Troubleshoot application, data, API, and automation issues.
Support testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of AI and automation solutions.
Stay current with emerging AI, automation, cloud, and software development technologies.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across development and automation processes.
