Berlin Packaging is seeking an AI & Automation Lead to architect and deliver AI-powered automation across the enterprise. You will lead a small team, set technical direction, and partner with product leaders to identify high-ROI automation opportunities.

You will own the delivery lifecycle and ensure scalable, production-ready solutions. The role requires deep AI/ML experience, LLM integration, and strong communication with business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in hands-on software development with AI/automation.
• Experience delivering production AI solutions in enterprise environments.
• Deep hands-on with LLM integration and prompt engineering.
• Knowledge of data pipelines, APIs, and system integration.
• Experience leading small engineering teams.
• Credible with business stakeholders and ROI-focused.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop AI and automation solutions across the enterprise.
• Evaluate tools and platforms for each use case.
• Prototype, validate with stakeholders, and ship iteratively.
• Own full delivery lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
• Set architectural standards and engineering practices.
• Partner with product leaders to identify automation ROI.
• Lead and guide a small onshore/offshore team.
• Maintain documentation and code quality.
