Job summary

D.A. Davidson Companies seeks a Mid-Level AI and Automation Engineer to build intelligent assistants and automated workflows in a Microsoft–centric environment. You will integrate Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and Azure AI Foundry to streamline financial services processes.

You will work on enterprise systems with a focus on security, compliance, and value delivery, collaborating with Wealth Management and Operations teams. Strong coding, DevOps, and AI pragmatics are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, automation engineering, or similar roles.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate and Power Platform tools for workflow automation.
• Familiarity with M365 Copilot features or similar AI bot/agent development tools.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Experience building or consuming RESTful APIs and data integration.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services and AI/ML frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and Develop AI-Powered Workflows using Copilot Studio and Power Platform.
• Integrate enterprise data sources and APIs for context-rich automation.
• Apply AI best practices including prompt engineering and model tuning.
• Ensure security, privacy, and compliance across solutions in financial services.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and monitoring dashboards for AI agents.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment with product managers and designers.
• Document designs and provide user guides to drive adoption.
