Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Delivery
  • Design and build AI-driven workflow automation using Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Outlook, and Microsoft Graph.
  • Select and implement the appropriate Microsoft 365 extensibility pattern (e.g., Copilot Studio agents, automated workflows, connectors, APIs) based on business requirements, data sources, and risk considerations.
  • Architect human‑in‑the‑loop automation that preserves appropriate review, approval, and professional judgment for legal and regulated workflows.
  • Develop reusable solution patterns, reference architectures, and implementation standards to support scalable delivery.
Governance‑Aligned Engineering
  • Design solutions that comply with firm policies and Microsoft 365 governance controls, including permissions, sensitivity labels, data loss prevention (DLP), and environment separation (Dev/Test/Prod).
  • Partner closely with IT, Security, and Compliance to ensure solutions are production‑ready and meet security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare technical documentation, testing evidence, and release materials to support approval and deployment.
Quality, Testing, and Support

  • Provide limited post‑deployment support and iteration for approved solutions.
Enablement & Mentorship
  • Support workflow‑specific user enablement through documentation, demos, and targeted guidance.
  • Mentor and train a junior automation engineer over time, establishing clear build standards and best practices.

  • Demonstrated hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 automation and extensibility, including Power Automate and SharePoint/OneDrive.
  • Experience designing and delivering solutions in regulated or compliance‑sensitive environments
  • Strong understanding of solution architecture principles, workflow design, and system integration.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Graph APIs, connectors, and identity/permission models.
  • Working familiarity with Power Platform environment management and governance concepts (DLP, solution lifecycle)
  • Exposure to data governance, privacy, and information‑management concepts in a legal or professional‑services context.
  • Prior experience mentoring junior engineers or technical analysts.
