Job summary

Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) is seeking an AI Architect to join our global IT capability. You will partner with product and business teams to identify high‑value AI and GenAI use cases and lead the technical solutioning to create architecture that scales with enterprise needs.

The role spans multiple domains—ML, data engineering, security, cloud infra, and governance—driving reference architectures, guardrails, and responsible‑AI practices.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and deploying AI/ML and GenAI on cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of large language models, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings.
• Ability to communicate AI concepts to both technical and business audiences.
• Demonstrated capability partnering with customers to translate business needs into AI proposals.
• 5+ years of information technology experience with hands-on data/AI/ML delivery.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-value AI and GenAI use cases and lead the solutioning to detailed architectures.
• Consider enterprise-wide patterns and ensure alignment with IT vision and data strategy.
• Leverage ML, GenAI, data engineering, security, cloud infra, and integration.
• Lead development and alignment of AI architecture strategy, patterns, and guardrails.
• Prototype emerging AI models and agent frameworks to address business problems.
• Establish and promote responsible AI governance, monitoring, and data privacy.
