Job summary

Insight Global's healthcare client seeks a Senior Architect to drive AI/ML technical solutions for Marketing and communications. This role designs, oversees, and scales AI/ML systems across the organization, bridging business strategy and technical execution to ensure robust, secure, and compliant AI solutions.

The ideal candidate has extensive software/data engineering experience, deep AI architecture expertise, and a strong track record of cross-team leadership, collaboration, and governance

Qualifications

• 12-15+ years in software/data engineering.
• 3+ years in AI/ML architecture.
• Experience with large-scale systems.
• Expertise in transformers, LLMs, multi-agent systems, RAG.
• Experience setting technical strategy across teams or business units.
• Strong collaboration, influencing, coaching, mentoring, and coalition-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications.
• Deep knowledge of AI governance, safety, and regulatory landscape (HIPAA, TCPA, CCPA).
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; healthcare/retail domain knowledge.
• Published research, patents, or open-source contributions in AI/ML.
• Experience with multiple cloud providers or hybrid/on-prem and SAS vendors.
• Master's degree is desired.

Skills and Requirements

12-15+ years in software/data engineering, with 3+ years in AI/ML architecture

Track record of architecting systems used at significant scale (millions of users, petabyte-scale data, or mission-critical enterprise systems)

Deep, hands-on expertise in modern AI architectures: transformers, LLMs, multi-agent systems, RAG, fine-tuning/RLHF, inference optimization

Proven experience setting technical strategy that spans multiple teams or business units

Excellent collaboration, influencing, evangelization, negotiation, coaching, mentoring, and coalition-building skills.

Excellent verbal and written communications.

Deep knowledge of AI governance, safety, and regulatory landscape (HIPAA, TCPA, CCPA etc.. )

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience. Healthcare and/or Retail industry domain knowledge

Published research, patents, or open-source contributions in AI/ML

Experience architecting systems across multiple cloud providers or hybrid/on-prem environments and SAS vendors

Master's Degree is desired.
