Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an AI Architect for a 6-month contract to guide enterprise AI initiatives. The role partners with business leaders, product teams and engineering to identify AI opportunities and design scalable, governed AI solutions.

Insight Global is hiring an AI Architect for one of our enterprise clients. This role will partner closely with business leaders, product teams, and engineering stakeholders to identify AI opportunities and design scalable enterprise solutions that align with long-term AI strategy. This individual will be responsible for leading proof-of-concepts, building and demonstrating AI agents, chatbots, and RAG-based applications, and guiding implementation teams through successful delivery. On a daily basis, they will evaluate emerging AI technologies, define architecture standards, connect enterprise data sources such as Jira and Confluence into knowledge-driven solutions, and provide technical leadership around governance, security, and scalability. The role requires regular interaction with VP- and GVP-level stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor while helping the organization mature from isolated AI experiments to a centralized, governed AI ecosystem. This person will play a key role in advancing an AI Center of Excellence and enterprise-wide AI adoption. This is a 6-month ongoing contract and offers $63-$65hr.

Skills and Requirements

• 7+ years of experience designing and architecting enterprise AI/GenAI solutions
• Strong cloud architecture experience, preferably within AWS environments.
• Experience with platforms such as AgentCore and GCP
• Hands-on experience building AI agents, agentic workflows, chatbots, and GenAI applications.
• Experience designing and implementing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines
• Ability to lead AI proof-of-concepts from concept through demonstration
• Experience creating AI architectures, technical roadmaps, and solution designs for large-scale organizations
• Strong understanding of AI governance, security, data management, and enterprise architecture principles
• Ability to work directly with executive stakeholders
• Experience evaluating and recommending AI platforms, LLMs, and cloud technologies
