We are seeking an experienced AI Applications Developer to identify, design, develop, and implement Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions that reduce administrative workloads, streamline business processes, and improve operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating operational requirements into practical AI-driven solutions. This role involves evaluating existing enterprise AI platforms and developing customized AI applications within a secure, controlled technology environment.

The developer will have hands‑on experience with Python, Azure OpenAI, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), and prompt engineering. The position also requires strong technical architecture, application development, testing, documentation, and Responsible AI implementation skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate complex operational processes into detailed technical specifications for AI implementation.


• Evaluate existing enterprise AI platforms and tools to determine whether to leverage available solutions or develop customized applications.


• Design, architect, prototype, and deploy custom AI applications using Python and other relevant programming technologies.


• Develop and implement Generative AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), Azure OpenAI, and approved enterprise AI platforms.


• Build and optimize Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, vector databases, embeddings, and AI‑powered workflows.


• Apply advanced prompt engineering, model fine‑tuning, and AI agent integration techniques to improve application performance.


• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to identify opportunities for AI adoption and process automation.


• Implement AI security controls, guardrails, and responsible AI practices to minimize bias, hallucinations, and security vulnerabilities.


• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation covering source code, application architecture, system prompts, workflows, and deployment procedures.


• Perform application development activities, including coding, unit testing, integration testing, troubleshooting, and deployment.


• Utilize development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve coding efficiency, documentation, and test automation.


• Ensure AI solutions comply with organizational security, privacy, governance, and Responsible AI standards.


• Communicate technical concepts, AI capabilities, limitations, and performance considerations to non‑technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Technical Skills

• Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence or a related field, or at least 2 years of hands‑on AI development experience.


• Strong experience in business requirement gathering and translating business needs into technical solutions.


• Hands‑on experience with Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs).


• Strong understanding of prompt engineering and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.


• Experience with software development methodologies, including analysis, design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and implementation.


• Knowledge of multiple programming languages, database management systems, development platforms, and system integrations.


• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.


• Knowledge of AI governance, data privacy, security, and Responsible AI principles.
