You will translate cutting-edge research into practical, scalable tools used by engineering teams across iPhone, iPad, Vision Pro, and more. The role blends applied AI with software development to accelerate decisions and deliver high-quality user experiences.

Qualifications

• BS and 10+ years of industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of generative AI and LLMs.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Excellent software engineering with OO design and best practices.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a founding engineer to shape AI foundation and roadmap.
• Identify gaps in hardware engineering workflows where AI can help.
• Partner with hardware teams to define AI features and scope.
• Evaluate and adopt enterprise AI solutions across Apple.
• Benchmark, adapt, and integrate AI/ML models into existing software systems.
• Architect and implement end-to-end software solutions where platforms fall short.
• Deploy and support AI tools, including interfaces, for hardware teams.
