Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on designing and implementing complex software systems.
• Proven track record of successfully leading software development projects from concept to delivery.
• Expertise in one or more programming languages and development frameworks.
• Deep understanding of software development principles, concepts, and methodologies.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor team members.

As an AI Application Engineer, this individual will play a pivotal role in building secure, customer‑facing applications on Aurora's modern platform. This hands‑on role will transform proven legacy products into modern cloud and web‑based experiences, embedding intelligent capabilities where they deliver meaningful customer value.

This AI Application Engineer will translate customer and business needs into working solutions, collaborating across product, architecture, engineering, and domain teams. Through hands‑on execution, this individual will help drive technical direction while working closely with Aurora's technical leaders and delivery teams.

This role will leverage AI‑enabled development practices to accelerate delivery, establish repeatable engineering patterns, preserve critical product knowledge, and strengthen Aurora's overall software development capability.
