SK AX USA, Inc. is hiring an AI Application Developer for the San Jose, CA area. The role focuses on building AI-enabled business applications using LLM platforms and supporting AI agent/workflow automation projects.

You will collaborate with AI Architects and development teams to implement solutions, integrate with enterprise systems, and ensure reliable post-deployment support. Strong AI interest and software background are desired.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in software development, application development, or application support is preferred.

AI Application Developer

Division of Delivery - Hi-Tech Full Time San Jose, CA, US

Salary Range: $75,000.00 To $95,000.00 Annually

Job Type: Full-Time

Travel: Occasional local travel within the San Jose / Bay Area, as needed

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-enabled business applications using company-provided LLM platforms.
• Support the development of AI agent and workflow automation solutions.
• Implement application functionality based on solution designs and business requirements.
• Collaborate with AI Architects and development teams to deliver AI-powered business services.
• Support ongoing maintenance and enhancement of AI applications.

Business Requirements & Stakeholder Coordination

• Work with business users and stakeholders to understand operational needs.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Communicate requirements and project updates to Korea-based development teams.
• Participate in discussions regarding AI-driven process improvements.
• Help ensure delivered solutions align with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain integrations between AI solutions and enterprise systems.
• Support API integrations with internal applications and databases.
• Investigate and troubleshoot application issues.
• Support users by resolving technical and operational issues.
• Maintain technical and operational documentation.

Testing, Deployment & Operations Support

• Support testing, deployment, and release activities for AI applications.
• Execute test scenarios and validate application functionality.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and issue tracking.
• Assist with production deployment and post-deployment support.
• Monitor application performance and participate in continuous improvements.
• Participate in AI, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for business process automation and efficiency improvements.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and tools.
• Contribute to the enhancement of AI applications and solutions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in software development, application development, or application support is preferred.
• Experience developing enterprise or business applications is preferred.
• Interest in AI technologies, automation, and business process improvement.
• Knowledge of Python, Java, C#, .NET, SQL, or similar technologies is preferred.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and system integration concepts.
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
• Ability to troubleshoot application and technical issues.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle concepts.
• Familiarity with AI tools, LLM platforms, chatbots, or workflow automation technologies is a plus.
• Understanding of server, application, and database environments is preferred.
• Experience with enterprise or legacy systems is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work closely with business users and technical teams.
• Ability to gather and communicate requirements effectively.
