Job summary

The SCC is seeking an experienced AI Application Architect to lead end-to-end architecture for AI-enabled software. This remote role involves designing scalable solutions, guiding engineering teams, and ensuring alignment with business goals and governance standards.

You will leverage Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock and Google Vertex AI to deliver practical AI capabilities, while shaping reference architectures and reusable accelerators across programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in application architecture for scalable software.
• Background delivering AI/ML solutions on cloud platforms.
• Experience integrating AI into applications.
• Understanding of development methodologies and cloud tech.
• Knowledge of responsible AI, model eval and IaC for AI workloads.
• Strong problem-solving, analytics and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design of AI-enabled applications aligned with goals.
• Translate stakeholder needs into technical requirements and target architectures.
• Design end-to-end AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry and AWS Bedrock.
• Define AI reference architectures and patterns for common use cases.
• Provide technical direction to development teams and ensure governance.
• Oversee development from PoC to production and ongoing operations.
• Use accelerators, templates and tooling to streamline AI delivery.
• Define AI solution lifecycle management within the broader lifecycle.
• Ensure performance, reliability and security requirements are met.
• Document architectures, decisions and patterns for handover.
• Mentor team members on AI design and delivery approaches.
• Collaborate with Cloud and Data Architects for integrated design.
• Stay current with AI services and evaluate applicability.
• Evolve delivery methodologies and standards for faster value.
