Guidehouse seeks a Consultant in Atlanta to join its AI and Data team, delivering AI, ML, and analytics across Public Sector segments. You will support client engagements, analyze data, and help craft deliverables that drive value.

You’ll collaborate with experienced professionals, grow technical capabilities, and pursue a path toward Senior Consultant as you gain domain expertise and leadership skills.

As a Consultant, you will join Guidehouse’s AI and Data team - a "horizontal" team dedicated to delivering artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced analytics solutions to drive innovation and deliver impactful value across Guidehouse’s Public Sector client segments: Defense and Security, Communities, Energy, and Infrastructure, Financial Services, and Health. The AI and Data team has a sub-team within each segment focused on applying cutting-edge technologies and strategies to address the segment’s most complex and rapidly evolving challenges across a variety of domains. You’ll contribute to high-value initiatives, which may include internal innovation efforts or strategic projects, and gain hands‑on experience with modern tools and methodologies. You’ll collaborate with experienced professionals, grow your technical capabilities, and help shape data‑driven solutions that matter.

Consultants support project teams both on client engagements (on and off‑site) and internal projects. Responsibilities will include client and project management, data and information analysis, solution implementation and generation of project deliverables. As a Consultant, a key function of your role will be to support the development and creation of quality deliverables that support essential project workstreams. You will gather and analyze data, identify gaps and trends, and make recommendations related to baseline performance and structure, as well as established best practices and benchmarks.

What You Will Need:

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred
• Minimum Years of Experience: 0 years
• Masters Degree
• Working knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, SQL.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other data scientists and adjacent roles.
• Foundational experience with Python, SQL, and data analysis through coursework, research, internships, or personal projects
• Ability to work with structured and unstructured data, perform data cleaning and transformation, and communicate findings effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
• Ability to adhere to on‑site work schedules in the Atlanta metro area as directed.
• Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship now or anytime in the future; Students possessing F-1 or J-1 visas are excluded from interview schedules or being hired for this position.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Advanced degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, Public Health Informatics, or related discipline).
• Experience with cloud-based data environments, data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau), or data engineering concepts.
• Internship, research, capstone, or project experience applying data science, analytics, or AI techniques to real‑world problems.
• Experience using Git, Databricks, Azure, AWS, or similar platforms.
• Experience performing data visualization using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to write technical process flows, diagrams, and model documentation.
