Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Cloud Architect to design secure AI and data architectures on Azure, and to guide engineering teams through secure deployments. The role emphasizes scalable reference architectures, and collaboration with stakeholders to translate business needs into cloud-native solutions.

The ideal candidate has extensive Azure, AI services, and Fabric/Data Factory experience, with a focus on security, monitoring, and production readiness.

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on Azure Cloud experience.
• 3+ years with Azure AI services.
• 3+ years Microsoft Fabric and data engineering experience.
• Strong security, networking, and identity management skills.
• Experience translating business requirements into cloud architectures.

Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years of hands-on Azure Cloud experience, including:
• Azure Kubernetes Service
• Azure Container Apps
• Azure API Management
• Azure Networking
• Private endpoints, VNET integration, DNS, firewall, and secure connectivity
• Managed identities, Key Vault, RBAC, and enterprise security patterns
• Cloud-native application architecture
• Monitoring, logging, and production support patterns
• Minimum 3+ years of experience with Azure AI services, including:
• Azure AI Foundry
• Azure OpenAI
• AI workflow development
• Foundry Agents and/or agentic AI solution design
• Semantic Kernel, Autogen or Microsoft Agent Framework
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation architecture
• Azure AI Search
• Document Intelligence
• Prompt engineering and prompt orchestration
