Job summary

Charter Manufacturing in Milwaukee, WI is offering an Automation & Analytics Internship. Part‑time (15‑20 hrs/week) during the academic year and full‑time (40 hrs/week) in summer, starting January 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems or IT Management with Sophomore status
• GPA of 2.75 or higher required
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
• Ability to succeed in a team environment
• Ability to handle multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and manufacturing teams to understand processes and opportunities for improvement
• Identify and support AI, automation, and analytics solutions that improve business efficiency
• Prepare, validate, and organize data for reporting, analytics, and AI initiatives
• Develop and test workflows using ChatGPT, Alteryx, SQL, Snowflake, Python, Power Automate, and Tableau
• Create reusable AI prompts, workflows, and custom GPT solutions to streamline work
• Build and maintain documentation for business processes, solutions, and best practices
• Validate data quality and support the development of repeatable data preparation workflows
• Test solutions with end users, gather feedback, and recommend improvements
• Communicate project outcomes and business impact to cross‑functional stakeholders
