Job summary

University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) seeks adjunct faculty to teach in Germany for the Artificial Intelligence Program. The role requires a Master’s degree in AI/DS or related field and 3–5 years of AI/Data Analytics experience.

Local applicants only; position is part-time and based in Grafenwoehr, Germany. Candidates must be able to maintain their own legal status and complete required faculty orientation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Analytics or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Data Analytics.
• Local applicants only and able to maintain their own legal status in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Teach AI courses in Germany for the UMGC AI program.
• Actively engage students through frequent interaction and motivation.
• Provide rich, regular feedback using rubrics for assessment.
• Demonstrate current subject-matter expertise and connect concepts across the program.
• Provide curricular feedback to the program chair.

Skills

Mastery in AI/DS

3–5 years AI/DS experience

Education

Master's degree in AI/DS or related field

Terminal degree preferred
