Job summary

University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) seeks adjunct faculty to teach on-site at Travis Air Force Base, CA in the Artificial Intelligence, Bachelor of Science program.

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in AI, Data Science, Data Analytics, or related field and have 3–5 years of professional experience in AI/Data Science, plus experience teaching in online higher education. The position is on-site at Travis AFB and offers a competitive pay structure.

Required Education and Experience:

• Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Data Analytics, or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning.

• Experience teaching within online higher education settings.

• 3-5 years of professional experience in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Data Analytics

• This position is specifically to teach on-site at Travis Air Force Base, CA.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Industry Certifications in ML, AI, Data Science from Microsoft, IBM, AWS.
