Job summary

Ohio State University is seeking an Intermediate Application Developer to support the development, integration, and maintenance of enterprise applications. The role focuses on secure, scalable solutions and collaboration within the OCIO | Enterprise Project team.

You will contribute to web, API, and cloud-enabled applications while applying disciplined SDLC practices, with growing independence in development initiatives and a commitment to engineering quality standards.

Qualifications

2+ years of enterprise application development experience.
Experience developing and supporting software solutions.
Experience with modern SDLC practices.
Experience writing maintainable and scalable code.
Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
Experience integrating with applications using REST APIs, event-driven architectures, or middleware.
Willingness to leverage AI tools to accelerate software delivery with sound engineering practices.
Strong written and verbal technical communication skills.

Responsibilities
