Job summary

The Carolina Population Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks an AHPS Data Disseminator Coordinator to support data management, release documentation, and website updates for the Add Health Parent Study. You will assist the AHPS data manager, prepare data tests, and help ensure data quality across generations.

Responsibilities include creating guides, maintaining data file consistency, and communicating new releases to the Add Health user community.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 0–2 years’ experience, or equivalent substitution.
• Experience with IRB processes and research data is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist AHPS data manager and project staff with monitoring Assessment data and protocol updates for IRB approval.
• Create user-friendly guides and documentation for data releases and ensure data file consistency.
• Update the AHPS website to provide easy data access via CPC Data Portal and communicate new releases to users.
• Perform literature reviews and research briefs for the Add Health community.
• Manage Phase 2 public use data and merge with Phase 1 data for integrated datasets.
