Qualifications

• 1-2 years of perinatal mental health experience is required.
• Must possess current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• MUST have a valid Kansas State license.

AdventHealth Kansas City, a leading faith based not for profit health system, is searching for a Nurse Practitioner to work at our AdventHealth Shawnee Mission Psychiatry clinic.

About Our Opportunity

• Patient population is serving women with perinatal mental health issues
• Part time schedule - 0.5 FTE
• Locations: AH Shawnee Mission, South Overland Park and Lenexa City Center
• Our group consists of 2 psychiatrists and three therapists
• EMR – Epic
• Work within a culture of maintaining a whole-person approach to wellness, focusing on mind, body and spirit
• Provides education to patient’s family regarding diagnoses, treatment, prevention, safety, etc.
• Collaborate with other physicians and staff in a family-oriented setting
• Telemedicine evaluation and therapy as well as inpatient consultations for women’s services.
