AdventHealth Medical Group, Rocky Mountain Region is seeking an OB/GYN Hospitalist / Medical Director Physician in our Littleton, CO Area.

0.2 FTE as a Medical Director and 0.8 FTE in Clinic.

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is a sister organization of AdventHealth with over 600 Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers in 27 service lines in Colorado. Responsibilities include:

1. Providing in-house physician coverage for evaluation, treatment, admission, and inpatient management of obstetric and gynecologic patients, including unassigned patients in labor and delivery, OB ED, and hospital floors.
2. Managing obstetric patients in the OB ED 24/7, 365 days a year.
3. Handling hospital floor consults upon request.
4. Responding to obstetrical and gynecological calls or consults, including emergencies and surgeries.
5. Providing evaluation, treatment, and management for patients of private physicians, including reciprocal billing as appropriate.
6. Assisting with labor management and ultrasound procedures.
7. Communicating with community OBGYN physicians, reviewing fetal heart tones.
8. Assisting in surgeries as requested and available, prioritizing emergent cases.
9. Providing emergency lifesaving care until primary provider availability.
10. Remaining on-site within hospital grounds during shifts.
11. Overseeing and teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
12. Coordinating transfer and discharge planning.
13. Supervising midwife practices with privileges at the institution.
