Job Details

Salary Range: $25/hr

Work Shift:

• BLS Class (4-hrs): Friday: 1:30pm - 5:30pm, 4:00pm - 8:00pm
• BLS and HeartSaver First Aid Class (6-hrs): Tuesday or Thursday: 8:30am - 1:30pm
• Some weekends – Mainly Saturdays from 9am - 1pm (2-4hrs)

Responsibilities

• Attend UTSON BLS Instructor Candidate Training.
• Set up equipment, prepare classroom, and teach materials to students according to the American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines and Instructor Manual.
• Facilitate course agendas, manage a classroom, provide feedback, and administer exams to students.
• Maintain UT Box CPR/One Drive folder and replenish course forms. Update CPR spreadsheet data entry.
• Transport equipment and supplies to offsite locations per requests, if applicable.

Required Qualifications

• 18 years of age with some healthcare experience.
• Must have a current BLS certification through AHA.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail, technical and organization skills.
