Job summary

CAE USA Inc. in Fort Rucker, Alabama, seeks an AH-64E Instructor Pilot to support the Army Advanced Helicopter Flight Training program. The Rated Crew Member monitors aircraft systems, diagnoses faults, and ensures maintenance records are accurate, day and night, in both VMC and IMC.

This position requires prior AH64E Instructor Pilot designation, 5+ years of military AH64E experience, and the ability to work overtime and rotating shifts; travel to training sites may be required.

Qualifications

  • Previous designation as an AH64E Instructor Pilot.
  • Crew Member must have 5+ years.
  • Operational military experience in the AH64E aircraft.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Must be able to work overtime as required.
  • Must be willing to work any shift or day of the week as required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for monitoring the aircraft systems, diagnosing and eliminating any problems that may arise, and ensuring that all maintenance faults have been recorded and properly corrected.
  • Conducts pre-flight and in-flight briefings, and post-flight After Action Reviews
  • Conducts logbook write-ups and maintenance as required
