Job summary

Silgan Dispensing is seeking a warehouse associate to manage material flow to and from the production floor. You will operate forklifts and oversee AGV activities, coordinating with production, shipping, and receiving to keep inventory accurate.

The role requires a GED or equivalent and 1–3 months of related experience, with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting and follow safety procedures. Forklift certification is mandatory, and physical tasks include lifting up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent required.
• 1-3 months related experience and/or training.
• Complete entry level skills test: understanding instructions, numerical computation, and visual checking.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to deliver/receive material to/from production.
• Monitor AGV activities using Login Control Center, ProTraQ, and related software.
• Make corrections to inventory using barcode scanners and the ProTraQ system.
• Handle job re-issues, cancellations, and adjustments using barcode scanners and ProTraQ.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and log/report AGV-related issues.
• Manually intervene and operate the AGVs as needed.
• Maintain forklift certification.
• Load and unload trailers as required.
• Monitor conveyor systems.
