Job summary

gpac is seeking an Agronomy Sales Representative in Michigan to build trusted relationships with growers and deliver crop input recommendations and agronomic expertise. You will advise producers on yield optimization and profitability, acting as a trusted advisor in a fast-moving agriculture-first team.

The role focuses on developing season-long crop plans, staying abreast of agronomic trends, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless product delivery and customer support.

Qualifications

  • Experience in agronomy sales, crop consulting, ag retail, or production agriculture.
  • Strong understanding of crop inputs, agronomic practices, and grower decision-making.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with growers across the territory.
  • Develop customized recommendations for seed, crop protection, fertilizer, and agronomic programs.
  • Scout fields, evaluate crop conditions, and identify opportunities to improve performance.
  • Partner with customers to develop season-long crop plans that drive results.
  • Prospect and grow new business within the assigned territory.
  • Stay current on agronomic trends, product innovations, and market conditions.
  • Collaborate with operations and agronomy teams to ensure seamless product delivery and customer support.
