Job summary

AGRILAND FS in Iowa invites motivated students to join its internship program designed to develop leadership and agronomy knowledge. This paid internship lasts 8-12 weeks and includes on-the-job training with state-of-the-art equipment, plus a two-day mid-summer conference and a luncheon presentation to wrap up the experience.

You will network with AGRILAND FS employees, management and fellow interns, gain hands-on experience delivering products, assist with storage and distribution of plant

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a two-year or four-year education program beyond high school.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
• Ability to work Spring or Summer full-time while on break from school.
• Good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Complete on-the-job training with state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
• Deliver products to custom applicators in customer fields.
• Assist with storage and distribution of plant protection products.
• Assist with post-application of dry nitrogen.
• Help monitor weed control by scouting fields.
• Learn about agronomy products and how they are used.
