Job summary

AGRILAND FS offers a paid 8-12 week internship in Iowa to develop leadership, critical thinking, and agronomy knowledge. You will gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art equipment and work alongside seasoned staff.

You will deliver products to field customers, assist with storage and distribution of plant protection products, and participate in weed scouting and post-application tasks. Networking with employees and a mid-summer conference are part of the program.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a two-year or four-year education program beyond high school.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work Spring or Summer full-time while on break from school.
• Valid driving record.

Responsibilities

• Delivery products to custom applicators in customer fields.
• Assist with plant protection product storage and distribution.
• Assist with post-application of dry nitrogen.
• Help monitor weed control by scouting fields.
• Learn about agronomy products and how they are used.
