Crop Quest Agronomists provide field-level crop management guidance to farmers, delivering timely recommendations on fertilizer, seed, and agricultural chemicals to optimize ROI. Collaborate with a team of agronomists and precision ag specialists to ensure unbiased, high-value service.

The role focuses on crop monitoring, planning, and water management, applying geo-referenced data and soil information to drive site-specific recommendations in a dynamic farming environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Crop Monitoring: monitor fields for insects, weeds and diseases.
• Utilize imagery tools for field monitoring and analysis.
• Crop Planning: provide ag chemical, fertilizer and seed recommendations.
• Plan crop rotations and fertility programs to optimize yields.
• Water Management: monitor soil moisture and schedule irrigation.
• Precision Ag: record field data using geo-referenced software and perform grid/zone sampling for variable rate recommendations.

• Work with Soil Texture, pH, OM, Elevation Data
• Grid & Zone Sampling
• Variable Rate Recommendations
