Job summary

InnerPlant seeks an Agronomy Services Lead to guide field trials for corn and soybean production in the Midwest. Based in Iowa or eastern Nebraska, you will design trials, manage seed supply, and lead a growing agronomy team across trial sites with partners and growers.

You will translate trial results into actionable insights for product and commercial teams while building scalable processes and vendor relationships. Travel is required during the growing season.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on field research in corn/soybean systems.
• BS in agronomy or related field; MS/PhD preferred.
• Experience designing/executing field trials with protocol development and data quality management.
• Willingness to travel extensively; lift up to 50 pounds.
• CCA/CPAg certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute field trials across Nebraska and Iowa.
• Own seed supply chain: contracting, conditioning, QA, and inventory.
• Serve as agronomy expert on corn/soybean production systems.
• Build and lead the agronomy services team with SOPs and vendor relationships.
