Job summary

CHS Southwest Grain seeks an Applicator Trainee to support fertilizer and crop protection applications and related agronomy operations. The role offers hands-on training, with CDL and industry certifications pursued on the job, and potential overtime during peak seasons.

Based in Dickinson, ND or Elgin, ND, you will operate equipment, assist with warehouse tasks, and work outdoors to serve local growers. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of agriculture production, operations, and/or applications.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings as required.

Responsibilities

• Apply fertilizer and crop protection products using application equipment.
• Operate and maintain application equipment, tender trucks, and related trailers.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and delivering agronomy products.
• Provide courteous, professional service to customers and support warehouse operations.
