Job summary

Superior Ag is seeking an Agronomy Applicator to perform precise fertilizer and agricultural chemical applications while maintaining custom application vehicles, equipment, and facilities. The role emphasizes safety and environmental compliance, with hands-on mechanical work outdoors.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, enjoys working with their hands, and is capable of obtaining/maintaining a CDL. Prior experience is a plus, but not required; 18+ and a high school diploma are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Prior experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Precisely blends and applies fertilizers and agricultural chemicals per label directions.
• Performs work safely and in compliance with environmental regulations and Superior Ag guidelines.
• Maintains facility and equipment to keep them in good appearance and in working order.
• Performs mechanic work on assigned vehicles.
• Completes applicator logs and reports.
• Keeps Location Manager informed of inventory that could affect schedules.
• Loads and unloads inbound/outbound inventory.
• Promotes the business with customers.
• Delivers products to local destinations in a timely manner.
• Be able to obtain and maintain a CDL with endorsements.
• Operate equipment safely and prudently.
• Adhere to laws and regulations; drivers are responsible for violations/fines.
• Assist and train seasonal employees.
• Other duties may be assigned.
