Job summary

Crop Quest Agronomists assist farmers around the Canyon, TX area by analyzing fields and providing fertilizer, seed, and crop protection recommendations to optimize ROI and sustainability.

You will work with a team of Agronomists and Precision Ag specialists, leveraging imagery tools and geo-referenced data to drive unbiased, data-informed decisions for diverse operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or Related Field required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Crop Monitoring: Field Monitoring for Insect, Weed & Disease; Utilize Imagery Tools.
• Crop Planning: Ag Chemical, Fertilizer & Seed Recommendations; Crop Rotation; Crop Budget; Fertility Management; Yield Analysis.
• Water Management: Soil Moisture Monitoring; Irrigation Scheduling.
• Precision Ag: Record Field Data Utilizing Geo-Referenced Software; Work with Soil Texture, pH, OM, Elevation Data; Grid & Zone Sampling; Variable Rate Recommendations.

Crop Quest Agronomists assist farmers with crop production decisions that best fit their operation and goals. Create timely recommendations for fertilizer, seed & ag chemicals that bring a sound return on investment. Work closely with our team of Agronomists, Precision AgSpecialists & industry leaders to ensure a high level ofunbiased service for the benefit of our customers.
