Job summary

City of Fishers Parks Department seeks AgriPark Support Staff to assist in year-round farm operations, grounds upkeep, and educational activities. The role requires weekend and some evening hours, with variable hours by season and no guaranteed benefits.

Responsibilities include maintaining grounds, assisting with animal husbandry and maintenance tasks, and supporting volunteer activities. A flexible, physically active candidate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience farming, grounds keeping, landscaping or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred;

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds including mowing, building, line trimming and similar tasks.
• Perform agricultural, animal husbandry and maintenance tasks for farm operations.
• Maintain grounds according to Parks Department standards.
• Perform special projects and related duties as required or assigned.
• Assist in education and public interaction.
• Assist with overseeing volunteers.
