Job summary

GreenPoint Ag is seeking a Full-Time Material Handler for our Brooksville, MS location. The role involves safely handling fertilizer, chemicals, and related products, operating forklifts and blending equipment, and supporting inventory and seasonal demand.

CDL-related duties may be required during peak seasons, with a Class B license preferred. Responsibilities include adhering to safety policies, transporting products, loading orders, inspecting equipment, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.
• Experience with racking systems and pallet loading/unloading.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet MVR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and wear PPE at all times.
• Safely handle and transport hazardous materials per regulations.
• Receive, store, stage, bag, load, and unload products per procedures.
• Operate forklifts and blending equipment safely.
• Prepare and load customer orders with proper sequencing.
• Inspect equipment and report defects to site leadership.
• Drive company vehicles and follow efficient routes while maintaining customer service.
• Complete DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections; maintain logs and documents.
• Maintain logs and delivery documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Assist with fertilizer spreader fueling and basic maintenance.
• Keep warehouse and site clean and organized.
• Assist training seasonal staff and perform other duties as assigned.
• Model GreenPoint Ag values in daily work.
