Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions in Minier, IL is seeking a hands-on Facility Maintenance Technician. You will maintain facility, vehicles and equipment to Nutrien standards, perform general equipment maintenance, and operate loaders, forklifts, tractors and location machinery in a safe manner.

The role includes loading and unloading trucks, blending dry and liquid fertilizer with automated systems, delivering product to customers, completing required paperwork, and keeping a clean, safe working environment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Agricultural, heavy equipment repair or operator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility, vehicles and equipment to company standards.
• Perform general equipment maintenance and mechanical work.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Operate loaders, forklifts, tractors and location equipment safely.
• Blend dry and liquid fertilizer with automated systems.
• Load and deliver product to customers and/or custom application equipment.
• Complete paperwork for loading, delivery and unloading per requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and follow safety rules.
