Valley Agronomics is seeking an Ag Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations at the Salmon location and to foster strong relationships with local producers. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, and service quality while coordinating resources to support the company’s goals.

The position emphasizes managing operations, promoting agronomy products, and ensuring regulatory compliance, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Ag Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills in professional settings.
• Ability to make decisions and execute them according to policy.
• Ability to determine task priority based on importance.
• Promote and support a culture focused on safety.
• Knowledge of computer systems operations and software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the agronomy location.
• Promote crop nutrients, crop protection products, seed and services to local producers.
• Provide administrative support as needed at the location.
• Ensure OSHA and cooperative safety program compliance.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
• Manage location inventory and maintenance records.
• Supervise spraying, spreading, and delivery of products.
• Communicate product and service information to customers.
• Motivate employees and delegate workload to staff.
• Report location goals and results to the Location or Area Manager.
